  • The shared guest house has 3 bathrooms (2 with showers), a double kitchen - 2 sinks, 2 fridges, 2 stoves, dishes, cookware, glassware, silverware, French Press coffee makers, spices, oil, and everything you might need to prepare your food. There is also a dining table, sofa and fireplace, board games and area information library.

  • Outside the guest house there is an outdoor kitchen with a propane grill, 3 burners, and sink. There is a variety of outdoor seating, hammocks, corn hole game, and a communal fire pit.

  • Yes, There is a bin for your dry goods in the guest house, and shelves in one of the fridges with your tent’s name on it. Food/eating in the tents is discouraged in order to keep desert critters away.

  • We provide towels, face clothes and hand towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand sanitizer. We recommend that you bring any other necessary toiletries as we do not have any for sale at the camp.

  • Of course! We provide all bedding including 100% cotton sheets (flannel seasonally) and blankets and handmade Oaxacan bedspreads. Need additional blankets on a chilly night? We’ve got you covered! Additionally, each Cal King bed has an electric mattress pad to warm the bed.

  • The five tents on the property share three bathrooms, two with showers. They are private and lock from the inside. Each tent is less than a one minute walk to the shared guest house.

  • Good question!
BaseCamp 37° is on the 37th parallel, and the border between Utah and Arizona. Since AZ does not observe daylight savings time, it is one hour earlier than Utah during our open season. So, the correct time is Mountain Daylight, but your phone might be confused if it is accessing an AZ cell tower,

  • Yes. There is a solar battery, with enough power for the mattress pad or fan, lights, and charging. Please turn everything off when you are not in the tent so the battery can recharge.

  • Besides the normal bugs and rodents, we often see rabbits, chipmonks and lizards. We often hear, but don’t see coyotes. Cattle graze in nearby fields seasonally. And occasionally, we see snakes. Most often they are harmless bull or king snakes, but occasionally there is a rattler. It is important that you leave the snake alone and notify the host of the sighting.

  • Yes, Each tent has a propane fireplace and the main beds have an electric mattress pad.

  • At this time there is no air conditioning in the tents. There is a fan, and the desert cools nicely at night. Please keep this in mind when traveling in the summer months.

  • Yes. Each tent has a small private propane fire pit. The main wood fire pit is available when conditions allow.

  • Yes. The WIFI is extended to the tents, but the signal will be better in the guest house.

  • Yes, One vehicle can park directly behind each tent. Trailers and additional vehicles will be directed to an overflow area.

  • Yes. BaseCamp 37° water is from the municipal source.

  • Glamping is glamorous camping! A bit upscale from regular camping; real bed, nice linens, bigger tent, wooden platform, etc. But, still outside! In nature, under the glorious southern Utah skies.
