Welcome to our spacious, secluded but totally connected glamping hideaway located just outside Kanab, Utah.

Well appointed safari-style tents. Cal King memory foam luxury beds and linens. Hot Showers. Even hotter grills. And friendly folks.

There are only five tents on the property, all facing the huge vistas of the 37th parallel. Enjoy the tranquility of the night skies and sounds of crickets, coyotes, and the crackle of a campfire, and feel like you’re one of the chosen few.

Find us 8 miles east of Kanab in the Chocolate Cliffs of the Grand Staircase under the magnificent Southern Utah sky.

Find out what makes Basecamp 37˚ the best area for glamping near Zion.

After your day of adventure In Zion, Bryce, or dozens of other destinations in the area, it’s time to clean up, wind down a bit and then engage in some high quality nocturnal desert hang time. Gather in our communal kitchen/bar and enjoy s’mores by the campfire, Trade stories and use our map library to plot what tomorrow will bring.

Our tents are spread apart and situated so you’ll feel like you have the valley to yourself.

Eat

BaseCamp 37° is self catering. Bring your own groceries conveniently acquired in one of Kanab’s two grocery stores. Fire up the propane grill at our outdoor kitchen or get busy in our large indoor kitchen. There is fridge space and a place to store your dry goods in the guest lodge, and basic spices, oil, foil, baggies, etc. If you prefer someone else to do the cooking, we will gladly recommend our favorite local restaurants.

Drink

BaseCamp 37° is BYOB. The state-licensed liquor store is the only place in Kanab for wine, spirits, and micro beers, M-Sat 12-7 pm. Beer and hard seltzer are available in some grocery/convenience stores.

French press coffee is available is the guest lodge. Chill your drinks in our shared refrigerators.

Stay

Starry nights with wide open views, Each tent has a Cal King bed with handmade Oaxacan bedspreads. Those looking for an additional full-size futon should choose Escalante, Hayduke or Katie Lee tents.
